EGAPL Is Moving Again!

EGAPL is Moving Again!

On November 15th, we are leaving the former East Greenwich Animal Hospital in East Greenwich and heading to the Cranston Animal Hospital on Park Avenue, Cranston.

We had hoped to stay in our East Greenwich rental location, but unfortunately the cost to purchase the building is simply too high. Our animals will be safe at Cranston Animal Hospital and we will be announcing our new adoption schedule shortly. In the meantime, you can still reach us at our listed email addresses and phone numbers. We will NOT be holding Open Adoption Hours this week, but you can contact us to schedule an adoption appointment.

While we are grateful to have a safe place for our animals, our time at Cranston Animal Hospital is only temporary! We still need your help to find a forever home which will be in our name

and where our animals will never be moved from again. Please consider a donation to our GoFundMe account to help us raise enough funds for a down-payment on a suitable building as soon as possible.

We know the wait time for approval of adoption applications has been slow lately. We’ve been fortunate to receive many applications for our adoptable dogs thanks to the AlwaysAdopt Super Dog Adoption Day event on November 7th; since EGAPL is made up of a small number of volunteers, preparing to move while reviewing applications has proven to be an arduous process. Please be patient with us, and remember that our cats are still looking for their forever homes, too!

THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us lately by donating, adopting, sharing our story, and just stopping to wish us well. By coincidence, November 1st – 7th was National Shelter Appreciation Week, and we certainly feel appreciated by the community! We’ll continue to need your support, not just financially but through your time as well. Moving involves a lot of work, and anyone able to clean, pack and lift is encouraged to stop by 4302 Post Road between 9:00am – 5:00pm until the 15th. Our front door will be closed, but the back door will be open.

We look forward to seeing you at the Cranston Animal Hospital soon!
