EGAPL is desperately in need of donations to help our “Frozen Pups” litter! Anna and Kristoff are two month-old terrier mixes named after the characters from the Disney movie. They came with their three siblings from a Southern shelter where their mother was rescued from deplorable conditions. After a mandatory quarantine in the South and another in Rhode Island, all five puppies developed symptoms of Parvo (a devastating and often fatal disease for puppies), and needed to be rushed to Ocean State Veterinary Specialists during the blizzard. Sadly, their three siblings did not survive, and Anna and Kristoff spent days in the hospital receiving emergency care, costing the League thousands.
We are happy to report that Anna and Kristoff are now on the road to recovery in their foster home and will soon be available for adoption! However, their medical care remains a financial hardship. EGAPL is requesting donations be made to help cover the cost of the Frozen Pups’ previous and future medical costs. Every donation, big or small, will go towards the care of these puppies and allow the League to continue helping other cats and dogs in need of shelter this winter. To donate, click on the donate button, or mail a donation to EGAPL, P.O. Box 184, East Greenwich, RI 02818.
